The accommodation sleeps 12 people (all single beds), one dormitory of seven, two twin rooms and one single room.

Includes a fully equipped kitchen, fridge/freezer, microwave, TV, Linen, bedding, towels, two showers, toilet, BBQ and outdoor entertaining area.

A new addition is added is the Backpackers retreat cottage for two which includes a queen size bedroom, bedding, TV, own kitchen and bathroom.
Please book in advance, meals can be arranged by prior arrangement.
Check out our local cuisine at The Pongaroa Hotel, great food and great hospitality with a courtesy coach on request. Or experience our fabulous fish and chips at the Akitio Seaview takeaways.

Akitio Beach has great character and deep with history, one of the best kept secrets. Heaps of fishing, rocky reef, surfing or just enjoy walking along the beach. Visit the Waihi falls or the Mangatiti Falls. Also check out our local Pongaroa Golf course.
Or simply enjoy the farm experience and relax in the peace and quiet of the hills.
